Stacy Goodwin is a paralegal in the Intellectual Property Practice Group and a project manager in the firm's Litigation Support team with almost 30 years of experience. She has been with the firm for nearly 25 years. Her litigation experience is primarily in the area of Intellectual Property. She has handled cases in various jurisdictions, including California state courts, federal trial courts in multiple jurisdictions, the Ninth Circuit and Federal Circuit Courts of Appeal, the U.S. Supreme Court, Re-examination proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), and Cancellation and Opposition proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB) of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Stacy has spent the majority of her paralegal career working on large, complex and document intensive cases utilizing her strong technology skills in various applications, including Concordance, CaseMap Suite, iPro, and Everlaw, among others. She also assists with drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and responses; preparing subpoenas for trial and depositions in various locations, including researching and conducting discovery in foreign jurisdictions pursuant to the Hague Convention; and conducting research and analysis in multiple areas of discovery, including pre-litigation investigation, determining the extent of infringement of client’s trademarks, enforcement of client’s intellectual property, background on potential witnesses, and analysis of evidence received during discovery.

In addition to her litigation responsibilities, Stacy has also been a project manager with the firm’s Litigation Support team since 2016. Since 2010, Stacy has managed and administered all of the Los Angeles office's litigation databases and software, including providing training and selecting and coordinating with vendors. Her responsibilities also include providing assistance with compliance of the EDRM and overall technology practices of the firm, providing training, education, and assistance with all aspects of eDiscovery, including development and implementation of successful strategies for collection, processing, workflows for document review, and review of evidence in various litigation matters.
