Jason Martone is a partner in Lewis Roca’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Jason's practice focuses on patents and trademarks. He has particular technical proficiency in mechanical devices and has assisted clients in obtaining patents in the fields of consumer electronics, including display devices and video game hardware; energy storage devices; medical devices, including spinal implants and bone anchoring systems; solar energy harnessing systems and components, filtration and purification systems, and other environmental-related technologies. Clients also turn to Jason for patent protection focused on automated manufacturing systems and processes, such as in the areas of display devices, packaging, and printing.

Prior to attending law school, Jason was a mechanical engineer with a large designer and manufacturer of electronic devices, and was also a project engineer and project manager for an air pollution control equipment design and manufacturing company. His background and experience in engineering have provided a strong detail orientation for understanding diverse technologies to prosecute and evaluate patents. His experience in intellectual property law, coupled with his industry experience in engineering and project management, provide a broad base from which to support clients.
