Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie Announces New Leaders of Litigation and Intellectual Property Practice Groups

Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP has selected Jessica Fuller as co-practice group leader of the firm’s Litigation practice group and Thomas Daly as co-practice group leader of the firm’s Intellectual Property practice group. As leaders of their respective groups, Fuller and Daly will be working with current practice group leaders, Mike Plachy and Art Hasan to optimize the management of these key practice areas.

Fuller is the former Chair of the firm’s Recruiting Committee and also serves as Co-Chair of the Class Action Group. She has over 12 years of experience representing businesses in a variety of complex commercial litigation matters ranging from contract disputes to insurance coverage and bad faith actions. Fuller has specific expertise in class action defense, including controlling class discovery, defeating class certification, and negotiating and ushering class action settlements through final approval. Whether through litigation, trial, or creative settlements, Fuller enjoys partnering with her clients to solve their business problems.

Daly has more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property with a focus on patent and trademark litigation. He works with clients to implement strategies designed to obtain and protect trademarks and patents critical to their businesses. He also handles matters pertaining to licensing and patent portfolio management for medical devices, chemical processing and pharmaceutical companies, among others. Daly has served in numerous leadership positions, including serving as former president of the Los Angeles Intellectual Property Law Association and former president of the Pasadena Bar Association. Currently, he serves as a mentor at the Los Angeles County Business Technology Center and serves on the editorial board of Los Angeles Lawyer Magazine.
