Lewis Roca Lawyer Re-Appointed to DNA-People’s Legal Services, Inc. Board of Directors

PHOENIX (January 24, 2023) – Lewis Roca announced Nancy L. White, has been reappointed to DNA-People’s Legal Services, Inc. Board of Directors. The State Bar of Arizona Board of Governors selected White for a second four-year to conclude December 31, 2026. She will continue to serve as Secretary and Treasurer, as Budget and Audit Committee chair, and as an Executive Committee member of DNA. The nation’s largest non-profit Native American legal services program in the US, DNA provides legal services to needy individuals residing in the Navajo Nation and on the Hopi and Apache Jicarilla Reservations throughout its footprint of six regional offices in AZ and NM. 

White, an experienced corporate lawyer, is a Partner and member of the firm’s Business Transactions Practice Group. She advises international and U.S.-based clients on transactional issues related to mergers and acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity securities, equipment, and real property purchases, dispositions, and leases, secured and unsecured loans, loan workouts, and refinancing transactions. White often advises clients on contracts with both foreign and U.S.-based goods and services providers providing structural advice and counsel in connection with implementation of innovative sales, distribution, and financing transactions.

Active in the community, White also provides pro bono legal services to several nonprofit organizations and individuals through Phoenix’s Volunteer Lawyers Program. She also has held leadership positions with First Place®, the Southwest Autism Resource and Research Center, the Hispanic and other Phoenix area non-profit corporations. White has been recognized for her corporate law experience by The Best Lawyers in America^© since 2001. She received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, and her B.A. from DePauw University.
