Lewis Roca Lawyer Elected President of the South Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (November 7, 2023) – Lewis Roca announced that intellectual property lawyer, Eric N. Kohli, has been elected President of the South Asian Bar Association of Las Vegas (SABA-LV), following his previous role as Director. Under Kohli's guidance, SABA-LV raised over $72,000 in scholarships and grants benefiting minority law students.

The South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA) has 29 chapters across the U.S. and Canada. SABA strengthens the rapidly growing South Asian legal community with a recognized and trusted forum for professional growth, civil rights, diversity, and inclusion, and increasing access to justice within the South Asian community.

With over two decades of experience in intellectual property law, Kohli specializes in patent and trademark law, serving a diverse clientele that includes Fortune 100 and 500 companies. His experience encompasses patent and trademark development, prosecution, enforcement, licensing, and litigation. Notably, he is renowned for his work in high-profile intellectual property litigation, particularly in cases of patent infringement, trademark infringement, and trade secret misappropriation.

Kohli received his J.D. from The John Marshall Law School at the University of Illinois in Chicago and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
