Jackie Garcia is a paralegal in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Jackie spent four years at a Chicago-based law firm learning and growing within the IP department.

Jackie has extensive knowledge as an intellectual property paralegal with a concentration in domestic and foreign trademark prosecution and enforcement, United States copyrights, domain name management, and UDRP procedure. She has experience maintaining client portfolios of 2000+ marks, often corresponding with foreign counsel to maintain clients’ trademark portfolios abroad. In addition, Jackie's expertise includes clearing trademarks for U.S. federal registration by conducting “knock-out” searches as well as reviewing and drafting initial opinions of Full Search results. Jackie enjoys direct communication with the client to help expand and enforce each client’s IP portfolio. Jackie maintains INTA and NALA memberships and participates in their ongoing educational events.
