Daniel Salgado is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. Daniel’s practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution, IP litigation, trademark opposition/cancellation proceedings, and IP clearance opinions. His patent experience includes drafting and prosecuting patents in the medical device, chemistry, and semiconductor industries. His IP clearance opinions have analyzed patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement risks across various jurisdictions including, the United States, European Union, and United Kingdom.
Prior to joining the firm, Daniel was a judicial extern for the Hon. Judge Jimmie V. Reyna, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C., and completed clerkships and internships in Arizona and New York. Before entering law, he was a Teach for America Corps member and a research intern at the Translational Genomics Research Institute.
