True Named President-Elect of MCBA Young Lawyers Division

​PHOENIX – The Young Lawyers Division of the Maricopa County Bar Association has selected Nicole True as its president-elect. True is a member of the Litigation practice group at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP.

As president-elect True will automatically succeed to the office of president of the MCBA Young Lawyers Division in 2018.

The mission of the MCBA Young Lawyers Division is to involve young and new lawyers in serving the community and enriching the profession while focusing on the specific needs of young and new lawyers. The group is open to MCBA members 36 years of age or younger, or who have been in practice for five years or less.

True’s practice is primarily in the area of ERISA litigation and other benefits litigation.  She was recognized earlier this year by Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie for her pro bono service, and recently argued a pro bono immigration case to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is admitted to practice in Arizona and Nevada.

A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, True clerked for ‎Honorable Thomas D. Waterman at the Iowa Supreme Court prior to joining Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie in 2013.
