  • Represented the Board of Directors of a NYSE holding company in litigation resulting from discovery that the corporation’s asset-based lending subsidiary had made significant loans on what turned out to be non-existent assets;
  • Represented a NYSE manufacturing company in prosecuting racketeering and fraud claims through trial against the subsidiary’s former CEO and CFO for defalcations through a complex embezzlement scheme involving kickbacks;
  • Represented a foreign conglomerate in prosecuting racketeering and fraud claims through trial against a U.S. borrower and his accomplices that used fraudulent security to obtain financing for an international trading transaction;
  • Represented the Board of Directors of a NASAQ insurance holding company in the investigation of allegations of fraudulent underwriting, kick-backs and defalcations;
  • Represented a NYSE financial corporation acting as a lender that was accused of being complicit in a scheme to defraud shareholders in a management led leveraged buy-out;
  • Represented many different publicly traded corporations and their management, at different times, that allegedly participated in the fraudulent sale of their own securities;
  • Represented the trustee of the bankruptcy estate in the investigation and pursuit of fraud and racketeering claims against the former management and professional advisors of a defunct NYSE company that promulgated false financial statements.
