Disability Insurance Policy

Represented an insurance company where plaintiff sued for breach of contract, bad faith and punitive damages under a disability insurance policy. The plaintiff’s attorney had high expectations for this case and took a hard line in a private mediation. When the case did not settle, Lewis and Roca moved for summary judgment on the bad faith and punitive damage claims. The court granted summary judgment.
