Join Association of Corporate Counsel and Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP for a CLE Seminar: Are You Prepared for Colorado's New Data Privacy Laws?

08/28/2018

Any business or individual doing business with Colorado residents will be subject to sweeping changes in Colorado’s consumer data privacy law. On September 1, 2018, House Bill 18-1128 will require businesses of all sizes that collect personal information to implement reasonable security measures and practices. Under the newly enacted legislation, individuals and businesses that suspect unauthorized use or access of personal information must conduct a reasonable investigation and, if a breach is discovered, comply with the statute’s notification obligations. We invite you to attend our presentation to discuss the newly enacted legislation and  the current landscape for businesses and individuals that collect personal information.

We will be offering this CLE at our Denver office with happy hour to follow or you may attend remotely via webinar.
