Marisa DeForest

Marisa is an associate in the firm's Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation including trademarks and trade secrets, and commercial litigation. Previously, Marisa was a summer associate at the firm where she worked on attorney-client privilege and trademark legal research memoranda.

While in law school at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, Marisa was actively involved as a Student Bar Association Senator, a Civil Procedure Academic Achievement Program Student Leader, and an American Constitution Society Treasurer. She was also a Health Law Research Assistant and worked at the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project where she focused on medical discharge and retirement cases.

In her free time, Marisa enjoys reading, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends, family and her dogs.
