Communication and Electronics Company Contract Case

Defended a communication and electronics company in a contract case brought by a controls contractor who contracted with the client’s agent to construct a semiconductor FAB plant in Tianjin, China. The plaintiff sought damages in excess of $23 million. Our client asserted a counterclaim for $8 million due to the plaintiff’s breach of the contract. The case was pending in Federal Court in the Northern District of California and recently settled.
