Reno: Attorney-Client/Work Product Privileges: Nuances and Pitfalls for In-House Counsel

09/20/2016

Marla Hudgens will be co-presenting with Rachel Silverstein from Zappos at the September 20 Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Nevada Chapter Reno Luncheon.

Topic:

Attorney-Client/Work Product Privileges: Nuances and Pitfalls for In-House Counsel

Overview:

In-house counsel has a daunting task when it comes to properly representing corporate clients. Counsel must carefully determine who the true client is and what information is protected by the attorney-client privilege. This presentation will take you into the weeds of in-house counsel-client privilege. Identify the various roles that in-house counselors play and the issues that can arise during the course of performing those roles. We will discuss key terms that are the foundation to understanding in-house counsel-client privilege.  Be prepared for an important and insightful discussion of a topic that is the cornerstone of in-house counsel work.
