Colorado Springs: Lunch with a Lawyer - September 13, 2016

09/13/2016

At one time or another, most of us have been asked to sign an affidavit, received a subpoena, or been questioned in a deposition. How should we respond in these situations? Who has the authority to require a response or our presence? And what type of information is appropriate for us to provide? Ed Gleason is a litigation partner in the Colorado Springs office of Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, and has been advising employers about how to respond to these requests for years. He will give you tips on how to properly represent your organization’s interests, and know when you should consult your legal counsel.

We provide the lunch; you provide the questions. This luncheon will not be a lecture, but is designed to provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about specific situations you have or might encounter.

This topic is designed for business owners and managers, nonprofit directors, church and ministry leaders, human resources managers, finance managers, and others who work in decision-making or support roles in your organization.
