Eric’s patent practice includes the mechanical, electrical, electronics, and software arts. His trademark practice includes prosecution and enforcement globally.

Eric is an experienced IP litigator. He has litigated infringement claims for various types of intellectual property, both offensively and defensively.

  • Obtained a favorable settlement for client for the theft of trade secrets by a former employee. CHGYM, LLC v. Moavenzadeh et al., Case No. 1:21-cv-00343 (M.D.N.C. 2022).

  • Pursued trademark infringement on behalf of popular 80s rock band. Steve Lynch v. Bigg Time Entertainment et al., Case No. 22STCV21696 (Los Angeles Sup. Ct. 2022).

  • Achieved a substantially favorable settlement for defendant client in a trademark infringement action brought by the licensee plaintiff. Leon Enterprises, Inc. v. Benjamin Gonzalez, Case No. 2:2019-cv-01672 (D. Nev. 2019).

  • Appealed summary judgment granted to defendant for theft of client’s pharmaceutical technology. H&H Pharmaceutical, LLC v. Chattem Chemicals, Inc. et al., Case No. 23-15055 (9th Cir. 2023).

  • Pursued trademark infringement and breach of contract claims for a TV celebrity client. Luxx International, LLC v. Pure Water Technologies, LLC, Case No. 2:23-cv-00512 (D. Nev. 2023).

  • Pursued trademark infringement against a venue for playing an unauthorized band under client’s trademarks. Steve Lynch v. Leatherheads Sports Grill, LLC, Case No. 2:23-cv-00343 (D. Utah 2023).
